Jul 29, 2013. #16. Snipers are very annoying to kill. But when used for attacking, they are mostly better left for more spefic roles and uses in certain types of fights. Remember in PE, tanks and cars will likely make up large parts of armies u face in future. And both those units have bonus agaist snipers.
How long should I stay in the age Iām in? Help! Iām in the late middle age, should I stay in that age for a while? I noticed some players that have a lot more points than me are still in the high middle age. Not sure if I should keep researching, or using my forge points for great buildings instead?

CA is one of the best fighting ages so I'd worry about leveling up more once there. 5k of each good is probably enough. 10k is better. LMA usually trades much better than CA because ppl tend to camp CA for long stretches. Later I'd stay in Indy briefly and camp PE. Both troops are meh but PE goods are very good.
AAs are theoretically better units, but in auto mode they run out and get killed fast, and you end up losing a lot. AAVs and rogues except against two armies: the one with eight tanks and the one with six tanks, two AAVs. swap out for tanks or champs then. Otherwise, hovers. Been in CE a while, around 600/300 attack.
The moment you have all of those 5 things, you should age up. Some players prefer to not age up when they have everything and stay in their age, to develop their city even further. That is called 'camping'. Some players age up before they have enough attack, or enough goods or whatever to complete the techtree.
