it's wonderful. Seriously. I am just kind of floored because i haven't seen this much detail and size put into a DLC since Iron & Wine for the Witcher III. It looks to me like there is at least, at leeeast 25+ hours of content, its MASSIVE. a.k.a. yes every much worth it. nice. i will get it. #2.

R epititive Mechanism. AC franchise had been using the same mechanism for about 7 years, and very few thing have changed. While assasination mechasim got improved by having a totally normal human being able to finally crouch down, the rest of the mechanism and combat system barely had any development.

The DLC’s just add on to the experience. Which Odysseys will too.) (I personally 100% the base game and DLC’s of Origins) The modern day plot is not touched in the DLC’s at all. Hidden Ones is crucial to the story. And you get real Assassin robes. Curse of the Pharaohs has very little impact on the main story.

Honestly I always ask myself whether or not I'll even actually play DLC. AC Origins is good but I was so done by the end I didn't even play the DLC. The gold edition cost me $45 at the time too. Wait for other comments but I don't remember the naval combat being very interesting. You don't have cannons so it's just arrows and ramming.

Origins is a huge game and the season pass brings even more of tis goodness. As they release the DLC over time the story continues to unfold. I love the world and am looking forward to enjoying more of it with this expansion.
You only need to make it through the first major section of the main game to access it, but it does have some minor story spoilers so it is recommended that you wait until you have finished said main game. The second DLC, called The Fate of Atlantis, came in three slightly larger portions and is, in my opinion at least, the better of the two.
It's more of the same so if you like the game it's worth it. I didn't really care for the Hidden Ones. It gives some solid background on the origins of the Assassins but it was mostly forgettable. Curse of the pharaohs is much better. There's a lot more to see and do, and there's some pretty solid boss fights.
