Most of the time, gold from farming in the open world and meta events comes from salvaging the loot and gear you get and selling them on the trading post and rarely raw gold. Drizzlewood Coast, Dragonfall, Octovine, Dragon's End, these are some pretty popular and good gold yeidling metas. I personally despise RIBA tho.

Incoherrant. • 4 yr. ago • Edited 4 yr. ago. Currently, to convert laurels into gold value it's apparently Light Crafting Bags, followed closely by Medium Crafting Bags. There's pages for this on fansites like gw2efficiency. Might be worth to keep a few on hand, though; they can't exactly be farmed.
The key to actually making gold is to sell almost everything you get on the trading post, like materials, and unidentified gear. I think that in 40 minutes, it would be reasonable to make 10 gold if you sell everything you get from events. There are also other farming methods, if you decide you arn't into the meta events.

After the meta event is done, the map has 15 minutes to slay various champion mobs, each of which spawns chests that contain lots of rare unidentified gear. Just use the LFG tool (Living world
MithranArkanere. • 10 mo. ago. There are no viable AFK gold farms. Everyone who does it does it because it's just barely better than the alternative, which is doing nothing else in the game at all. Even doing a few world bosses will get you more coin and materials in less time.
6330 / 10.45 = 606 games after rounding up. So 15 minutes x 577 games = 144,25 hours of PvP. Or 15 minutes x 606 games = 151,5 hours of PvP. But 70% winrate in plat is unsustainable, you'll end up in legendary, which is flat +4 pips per match, but with longer queue, and your winrate should drop somewhat.
